Stephen F. DeLucca
On Saturday, June 17, 2023, Stephen Francis DeLucca, loving son, brother, and uncle, passed away at age 56 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, PA.
Steve was born on August 15, 1966 in Philadelphia. He grew up in Lower Moreland Township and later moved to the Poconos. He loved being outdoors and worked in construction most of his life.
Steve, also known as “Duke”, was sociable, charismatic, kind, and funny and made friends easily wherever he went. He had an adventurous nature which is the source of many stories that will live on in family lore. He enjoyed swimming, sailing, and fishing and would head to the pool, lake, or beach whenever he could. He played the saxophone and liked to jam. He also loved sports and was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Louis DeLucca Sr., and his mother, Mary Ellen DeLucca. He is survived by his brother Louis Jr. and his wife Dianna of Belleville MI, sister Diane Appelt and her husband George of Fredericksburg PA, nieces and nephews Anthony Appelt, Katherine Wolf, Margaret Lobstein, Rose DeLucca, and Louis DeLucca III.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 13 at 11:30 at Giuseppe’s Restaurant, 1380 W. Street Road, Warminster PA.

I met Stevie when he visited his cousin Donna in Virginia many years ago when we were all in our twenties. We had an epic weekend together, and I never forgot him. Although it’s been 30-plus years, I always remember to ask Donna about him. That he made that kind of impression just that one weekend together says everything!
