Robert Cronce, 75, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away December 28, 2020 at The Gardens at Easton.
Born June 1, 1945 in Dover, NJ and raised in Warren Glen, he was the son of Leon Robert Cronce and Myrtle Catherine (Myers) Odor.
He was a truck driver for Frey’s Motor Express for 22 years and other small companies before retiring from Pallet Express. He was a member of the Teamsters Union #773. Robert owned his tree cutting service, which also served as a hobby, along with traveling, visiting family and friends and running/biking.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Phillip “Dave” D. Cronce and nephew, Matthew W. Trach. Bob is survived by his loving children, Kelly Hook (husband Mike) of Slatington, Pa, Jodi Cronce of Palmer, Pa and Robert L. Cronce of Big Rapids, Mi. His grandchildren, whom he adored with all his being, Jacob (wife Shannon), Barry (wife Lauren), Lexus, Thrinety, Savannah, Elliot, Raelin, Cayden, Tyler and Austin. Also, sisters, Margaret “Peg” Pugliese, Phyllis Trach (husband Dennis), brother, John (wife Doreen), many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also, Joanne Gower, his ex-wife (and husband Ron).
There will be no services, per Bob’s request.
Donations to The Muscular Dystrophy Association or Dementia Society of America can be made in his memory.
