Richard David Doaty

Richard “Slim” Doaty, passed from this world into the next on December 16 2013 after a long battle with cancer, in his residence with Linda, his wife at his side.   He was born August 13, 1939, the son of the late Levi and Marie Doaty. A life long resident of Birdsboro he graduated from Daniel Boone high School in 1957. He owned and operated Doaty’s Garage in Birdsboro/Robeson Township for 45 years. He loved towing and recovery of cars, meeting people and going places. He enjoyed working on his cars, going to car shows and cruises and working in his yard. He loved his dogs. He has many friends and will be greatly missed.   Slim is survived by his wife, Linda, one son Daniel and his wife Dineen, of RobesonTownship, a grandson Jay, a sister Esther Burinsky and a nephew Ron. He is also survived by his beloved dogs Sam, Ted, Abbey and Bubba.   He was preceded in death by his son Ricki (1968), daughter Cynthia (2004) and his brother Paul (2003)   Per Slim’s Request, arrangements are private.
