Norma I. Grub

Norma Grub of Lakeville, PA, passed away on April 23, 2021 at 88 years old.  Born in Brooklyn in 1932, Norma was the daughter of the late Charles and Astrid Barth.  Norma moved to Lake Telemark, NJ and graduated from Rockaway High School.

Norma was an active member of the Lakeville United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and also with the Honesdale Choralaires of Honesdale.  She worked at the local Lakeville soup kitchen and enjoyed playing cards with her cherished friends.  She was also an avid knitter.

Norma is survived by her husband, Walter Grub, of 70 years.  In addition to a sister, Evelyn Hammaren of Ironia, NJ; a brother, Harold Barth of Denver, CO, and a sister, Signe Barth, predeceased, she leaves behind her five children, Scott Grub and his wife Cindy of Hampstead, NC; Eric Grub and his wife Lorraine of Barnegat, NJ; Christine Grub Mall and her husband Werner of Lakeville, PA; Rodger Grub and Shelley Kowalick of Great Meadows, NJ; and Lloyd Grub of Great Meadows, NJ.  Norma was a proud and loving grandma to 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at the Lakeville United Methodist Church on Friday, April 30, 2021, at 11:00 AM.
