Michael Phillip Cordaro, 72, of Moosic, formerly of Dunmore, died Saturday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. His wife is Natalie Robertson Cordaro. The couple was married 12 years.
Born in Scranton he was the son of Pauline (Melnick) Cordaro, Peckville and the late Angelo Cordaro. He was educated in Dunmore Schools and was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the United States Army. He worked at the Tobyhanna Army Depot for many years and later was a self employed automobile and truck mechanic.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons Sean Cordaro, Clarks Summit, Patrick Cordaro, South Dakota; a step daughter Paula Hatton, Clarks Summit; a step son Craig Guinup, Fallbrook, CA, six grandchildren and five step grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Ross Cordaro.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen, 500 Penn Ave, Scranton, PA 18503.
