To Julia and Dacie. I am sorry for the loss of your mom. She could make me laugh and she could make me upset but I can only say that I’m better off for knowing her. I did not stay in touch with her as I should have and for that I am sorry. You have lost a person that was too young and that had more to give. God bless you Joyce. Your friend in the end Kory.

Julia and Dacie, I met your Mom in barber school and we became good friends. She helped me get through my first hair cut. She was the best friend. I was lucky to have such a good friend. I am so glad for the time we spent together the last few years.
She was so proud of both of you. Ava made her so happy, she was so excited to be a Grandma.
I will miss my friend. I learned a lot from Joyce the last months of her life. I am glad to have been with her, even in the end. Joyce lives on in her girls. and our memories.
Love, Kate
