Jack E. Roe, 69, of Brownstown, passed away on November 9th at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Carol (Lindsay) Roe.
Born in Newton, NJ, he was the son of the late Thomas and Verna Roe. Jack loved people and enjoyed sharing his faith with others and vacations at the beach with his friends. Jack served in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife, Carol, Jack is survived by three daughters, Kelley Mowry, Diana Netherton, Meaghan Roe, and one son, Steven Roe, as well as eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his only sibling, Glenn Roe.
A memorial service will be held on December 6th, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kindgom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 530 Brimmer Road, in New Holland, PA. Condolences can be offered before the commencement of the services and immediately afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, where Jack received excellent care in his last few months of life. Donations can be mailed to: Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Building 1, Hospice Unit, Lebanon, PA 17042.
