Guy Daniel Bisignani Sr., 59, of Jefferson Twp. passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Younica) Bisignani.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Thomas A. Sr. and Gloria (Musolino) Bisignani. Guy was a 1982 graduate of Scranton Technical High School and Lackawanna County Area Vocational – Technical School Authority. After graduation, he spent his life doing what he loved, working as a Machinist.
Guy loved spending time with his wife and family, especially when they were watching the Kansas City Chiefs every week, a tradition that started when he was a child. Throughout his life he had many beautiful Doberman Pinschers with whom he spent much of his time. Rip, Clarice, Colt and Trump being some of his favorite dogs.
Guy is survived by his sons: Guy “Scooter” Bisignani, Jr. and Christopher Bisignani both of Scranton; his brother, Thomas Bisignani Jr. and his wife Jenny of Scranton; his sister, Gloria Bisignani Eremo of Old Forge; his grandchildren: Alia and Dylan; his great-grandchild, Nia; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Jennifer DeNinno.
The family would like to thank Dr. Joseph Stella of Gesinger Mt. Pleasant for the fabulous care that was provided over the past few years.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial Contributions can be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Rd., South Abington Twp., PA 18411.
