The cost of cremation and the degree of service vary widely across Pennsylvania. We are NOT a high priced funeral home. We ARE a fully licensed cremation service provider and focus on the needs of the families we serve. In addition, we own our private crematory so that your loved one never ... Continue Reading.

Dear John and family,
Oh, my heart is hurting right now…How I loved your dear, sweet, precious Mama!! We met, by chance, as we sat next to one another on a tour bus while attending a Robert Schuller conference, in 2000. Long story short…not for sure how “vitamins” entered the conversation, but from that time on, I became her “Shaklee” supplement lady!! How I treasure all the “chats and laughs” we have shared over the years on the phone!
I know you and your family know this…but I will tell you again…she absolutely LOVED all of you…and was so very proud of each of you! I loved hearing the stories of her grandchildren….you could “almost” see her “beam” over the phone!!
Another fun memory that we talked about over the years…was that Christmas ( after I met her) …on my husband’s “wish list” was YOUR book, John…before I had a chance to get it….here it came in the mail…signed by you, no less!! Up until then…and a quick phone call to her to solve the mystery….I had no idea you were her son!! We smiled about that many times!!
So thank you for the memories and for sharing your adorable Mama with so many, including me!!
I am so blessed, as I have on my records, that I talked with her a day or two before she died. An “extra” treasure in my heart!
On another “treasured feeling”….I want to think that she and my mother are “up there” getting introduced and sharing fun memories of “their kids”!! 🙂
At age 97…almost 98, we buried my sweet Mama a week ago yesterday in our hometown of Springfield, Illinois. Our family was blessed, as yours was. Memories will forever be in our hearts. Like your Mother, she loved adventure…..one lasting memory of our “Mama Millie on a Motorcycle” was her annual Harley Davidson rides she “enjoyed” from age 90 – 94!!! ( She rode on the back…did NOT drive!! ) She had a ball.
We are calling this a real ” GodWink” to the end. As we were finalizing the funeral ..we learned that the funeral home had recently purchased a “Harley Davidson” hearse…..a Harley that pulled the most beautiful glassed carriage that carried the casket with our sweet Mama Millie in it!
We will miss her….but like with your Mama, our hearts will forever be full of the loving memories!
God Bless you and your family always…..we have ALL been blessed by Eleanor and Millie! Betty Matson Dayton, Ohio
