Donna Lee Molcon, 74, of Tunkhannock, PA, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024. Born on October 13, 1950, in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Margaret and Carmen Demarco.
Donna spent most of her life in Tunkhannock, where she cultivated many deep and cherished friendships. She humbly served as a housekeeper for many years until her retirement, touching the lives of those she worked for with her dedication and warmth. A woman of faith, Donna was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness for many decades. She found joy in sharing her hope for a better life in a new world with others, spreading comfort to those around her.
Donna was known for her vibrant personality and love of bold, bright clothing that reflected her zest for life. She had a passion for crocheting, generously sharing her handmade baby blankets and craft necklaces with many. Her giving nature extended to her neighbors, with whom she enjoyed playing cards and spending quality time.
She is survived by her children: Mary Holbrook, Michael Molcon, and Steven Molcon. Donna was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Molcon.
Donna will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the spark she brought to the lives of those around her. Her legacy of generosity and faith will continue to inspire all who knew her. We appreciate the warm, personal attention by the nursing team at Compassionate Care Hospice. Additionally, the family would like to especially thank Kim and Rashida of Linwood Nursing. They were exceptionally kind and compassionate throughout all of mom’s challenges. They lead with love and are fine women that are worthy of imitation.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 5536 US-6, Tunkhannock, PA 18657 on Friday, November 15, at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to JW.ORG in Donna’s memory.

Donna was a spark of bright light in a dark world. She was my buddy who had lunch with me often, went to visit ppl I studied the Bible with , we watched shows together and played cards together. She could be stubborn too but ultimately made me laugh at the end of the day. Can’t wait till the resurrection to see her again and to see her young for the first time.
