Deanna Rachael Clymer, 82, of Wind Gap, PA, passed away Thursday January, 26, 2023 at Mrs. Bush’s Personal Care home, Kunkletown.
Born in Phillipsburg, NJ she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah Farley Summit. Prior to her retirement she worked for RR Donnelley, Quakertown.
Deanna was an avid bird watcher, and loved watching all the various wildlife indigenous to the Pocono Mountains. She loved her canine children (Shih Tsus) Max and Skoshi, as well as her grand-dogs (Westies) Abby, Jazz, and Plum.
Surviving are a daughter Lori Carriere and husband Michael; a son Randy Scott Clymer; a sister Gail Maslonka; grandchildren Jonathan, Randy, and Nicholas Clymer.
she was preceded in death by a sister Doris Sipos, Janet Fulper, and Betty Fleming; brothers Charles, and Kenneth Summit.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Bush’s Personal Care Home for the loving care given to Deanna.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, February 20th from 12pm to 3pm at Flynn’s on the Hill, 341 Pursel Street, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. Come share a story, a memory, a tear and a smile.

My condolences to Lori Carriere and Randy Clymer I am truly sorry for the loss of your Mother.you’re mom touched our hearts with her kindness and love to those of us when we were younger . She pierced my ears, took me to the creek with you and Randy, when youse were little. I still remember her telling me don’t touch the wire it’s so the cows don’t get out and I touched it and wow .that I never forget I think now and it’s funny .
