Boyd Hottenstein, 75, of Bethlehem, passed away Friday August 19, 2016 in Bethlehem. His wife is Lucinda Ruth Hottenstein, the couple had been married 32 years.
Born in Lower Saucon the son of the late Albert and Margaret Hottenstein he worked for Morris Black for 50 years. Boyd enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, walking Buster his beloved buddy andfeeding the birds. Boyd love spending time with his granddaughter, Giuliana, and was teaching her how to garden. Boyd loved spending time in Florida, taking his granddaughter to Disney. Boyd loved The holidays especially Christmas.
Boyd and his wife Cindy, celebrated 32 years of marriage. Boyd always enjoyed making Cindy breakfast. Boyd and Cindy loved to make scrapple and cheesecake. Boyd love making homemade wine. Boyd taught Cindy how to fish.
Boyd and his son Jonathan worked together at Morris Black until Boyd retired. After work they would spend time playing pool and eating cheese steaks together. Eventually, Boyd & Cindy moved in with Jon and his wife Ashley, who Boyd considered his daughter. Both Jon & Ashley took great care of Boyd especially during his illness. Boyd was one of 14 siblings.
Boyd is also survived by 4 children from his first marriage.
Surviving are a son Johnathan and his wife Ashley; two sister Cookie, IL, Mona, Center Valley; three brothers Carl, Coppersburg, Herbert, Saucon Valley to name a few… Grandchildren Giulina and Gavin Hottenstein.
